The Burned-In Teacher Podcast is all about going from burned-out educator to BURNED-IN human. On this show, I interview teachers who are or have gone through burnout and they share with us what they are doing or have done in the past to beat it. I also interview experts in the field of teacher burnout, education, productivity, happiness, and basically all things BURN IN. There will also be episodes where I share my own experiences and answer questions from listeners and Burned-In Teacher Community Members.

In this episode, I’m going to share my top three systems for managing overwhelm both before and during the school year so you are no longer feeling overwhelmed to the point of shutting down. It’s obviously not the beginning of the school year, however, I truly believe that we can always create a new beginning whenever things aren't going quite as we had hoped that they would. These three things are more than just tips for overwhelmed teachers, they are strategies that you can apply to create healthy boundaries and sustainable systems so you can do more than just survive, you’ll thrive both inside and outside of the classroom.
