The Burned-In Teacher Podcast is all about going from burned-out educator to BURNED-IN human. On this show, I interview teachers who are or have gone through burnout and they share with us what they are doing or have done in the past to beat it. I also interview experts in the field of teacher burnout, education, productivity, happiness, and basically all things BURN IN. There will also be episodes where I share my own experiences and answer questions from listeners and Burned-In Teacher Community Members.

We’re talking about the “October Blues”, the emotions that can sometimes be associated with it, and how to stop being sad every day.  Teacher friends, if you feel or have felt this way, I want you to know that I’ve been there.  You’re not alone.  In this episode, I share my own very personal story of the “October Blues” and why I believe that it can become a habit if we aren't being mindful of or taking action to change the negative affects and allowing ourselves to be caught in a cycle that causes even more burnout.

In this episode you will:

-- Learn how to become more self-aware of personal/emotional patterns

-- Get ideas of what you can think and say to yourself move out of the “October Blues”

-- Learn strategies you can take if you’re feeling overwhelmed by the “October Blues”
